Who we are
Renovo Coach ("Renovo," "we," "us") provides personalized fitness coaching through the RENOVO Coach iOS app (the "App") and the website renovocoach.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email info@renovocoach.com.
Information we collect in the App
Account information. Your name and email address, which you give your coach when you sign up, and the password you set to sign in.
Profile information. Details used to set up your plan, such as sex, age, height and your goal.
Information you log. Entries you make in the App, such as water intake, body weight, body fat percentage, body measurements (for example waist and neck) and check-ins.
Progress photos. If you choose to add front and side photos at a check-in, we store them so you and your coach can compare your progress over time. Photos are never shared publicly or used for any other purpose.
Workouts and messages. The workouts you log (exercises, sets and reps) and the messages you exchange with your coach in the App, so your coach can follow your training and support you.
Apple Health data. If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App reads data such as steps, sleep, weight, active calories, exercise minutes and resting heart rate so you and your coach can see your recent trends. You decide which categories to share in the Health app, and you can turn access off at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
How we use your information
- To provide the App: signing you in, showing your progress, and displaying your nutrition targets and check-ins.
- To coach you: your coach reviews your information to adjust your training, nutrition and habit plan.
- To communicate with you about your coaching and your account.
- To keep the App secure and working properly.
Apple Health data
Data we receive from Apple Health is used only to provide your coaching and display your progress. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us run the App and are bound to protect it. We never use Apple Health data to determine eligibility for credit, insurance or employment.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites. We share it only:
- with your coach, so they can provide your coaching;
- with service providers that host and operate the App on our behalf (such as Supabase for sign-in, database and photo storage, and Apple for push notifications), under obligations to keep it confidential and secure;
- when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Renovo, our clients or others.
The website
When you submit an application on the Site, we collect the name, email address, phone number, goal and other details you enter, and use them to respond to you about coaching. The Site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it; Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited and general device and location data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or as needed to provide coaching. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or delete your account, at any time by emailing info@renovocoach.com. We will respond within 30 days. Disconnecting Apple Health stops new Health data from being shared with the App.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The App and Site are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the App or by email.
